Are People Being Stopped From Going To Their Doctor ?

I’ve been reading and hearing recently about people who have something wrong with them but don’t feel they can go to their doctor in case it backfired on them
What would YOU do?
A mum was ill, but wouldn’t seek medical advice because she believed social services would take her children into care. She was really ill and died.
A pensioner lost their travel insurance because of what turned out to be a minor ailment, so he wont go to their doctor again unless he’s desperate
Another is in fear of losing a driving licence and not even getting any treatment because she is old and at the back end of the queue
A mum had suffered depression then her medical history was brought up during a custody hearing she lost her children. Now she is feeling depressed again she won’t do anything about it.
A child fell and bumped his head, the mother went through such hell she had a real dilemma any time he hurt himself after that.
Where does it end?

Doctors are not as sympathetic as they should be and are too concerned with budgets. My father went to the doctor, feeling very unwell years after his heart bypass operation, and was not even invited to sit down as the doctor barked at him: “well, you were given another fifteen years, so what do you expect?”
My mother’s hip actually ceased to function, but when she went to that same doctor about it, the response was: “what do you expect me to do? You aren’t getting a hip replacement, if that’s what you think!” She went on suffering for the rest of her life.
They were afraid to switch doctors, as when you are old you are not usually very welcome in a medical practice.

Doctors no longer care. End of. They don’t believe they are being paid enough.
I’ve had a problem with my knee for five years now and they only did something because I couldn’t walk, I was gaining weight quickly because I had ceased to exercise and because I was going every week. I’m 16 years old and my left leg is worse than my father’s and he got his sorted out quicker than mine did, saying that my knee is still very bad – in fact worse.
