Thailand is home to a growing trend known as “Medical tourism” due to its highly developed medical profession, one of the most advanced in the region as seen in CBS TV’s 60 minutes and in Time Magazine. Thailand has an established reputation for affordable health care: in the past 2 years, over 1 million foreigners from Europe, North America, Japan, Middle east and from neighboring countries in Southeast Asia and south Asia have used health services in 33 private hospitals in Thailand. Many Thai doctors and dentists are trained overseas particularly in Europe and USA – with credentials that equal or surpassing your local health providers. The top hospitals in Thailand are internationally accredited and ISO-certified with modern facilities and equipment. Patients’ rooms feel and look more like a first class hotel than a hospital room.

I can’t wait to fix the dodgy work when it comes back….. i’ve already had to pull out a few of these “equal/surpassed accredited” bridgework.
The good thing about it for them is that patients don’t return if they have problems so they can do whatever they like. Also the patients are none the wiser if 2nd rate materials are used.
Just because a place looks good does not mean the quality of the work provided is of high quality. What is the infection control standard in Thailand? You couldn’t pay me enough money to have dental treatment over there.
third world medicine….brilliant! i hear the food in africa is delicious too.
I love it!!! I can’t wait to take pictures of this crappy work just before I tear it out.
hmmm. It may be a good time to buy a new boat
