I too have existing medical problems,try Direct Line, they will insure you at a reasonable rate but,like all other companies,they will not insure you for a pre-existing medical condition.
Can’t you get insurance through your bank? My mother has kidney failure but had no trouble getting insured by HSBC. It’s worth a try.
