I am going away (Caribbean) in June this year, and I wondered if anyone knows of a travel insurance company that pays out (direct) to the hospital to cover costs, rather than me paying the hospital, then getting my money back from the insurance company. (I don’t intend on getting sick, but I want to ensure we are adequately covered)
I don’t use a credit card, and if we were injured what would happen if we couldn’t pay medical bills? I have heard that certain Insurance companies pay upfront, but I don’t know which. I am just trying to be cautious, and ensure everything is in place before we go…..Hope someone can help?

I would suggest that you call AAA travel and they will get you all the information you need. Im not quite sure how that works, if it does….but AAA will put you in the right direction and if they dont they will let you know someone who does. I deal with them on my travels. wish you luck.
