i need to loose about 10 pounds

so,
how does my oatmeal diet sound?
Breakfast: 1 cup skim milk and 1 serving of oatmeal with 1 serving of fresh fruit
Lunch: 1 serving of oatmeal with some vegetable soup and 1 serving of either dried or fresh fruit
Dinner: ok, i need suggestions…
should i eat oatmeal again for dinner along with 4 oz. of protein, 4 oz. of vegetables, and fruit…
or…
should i eat whatever my mom makes for dinner?
(we’re asian, so we usually eat an asian dish)
so…how many pounds a week will i loose if i follow this diet?
does the oatmeal diet really work for weight loss?
i’m currently 5 feet, 1.2 inches, and 105 pounds
i need to loose the weight because i do dancing and stuff

Oatmeal, use the whole regular kind not the quick kind, is a great whole grains that supplies a lot of nutrients and different fibers.
Dr. Gabe Mirkin recommends your breakfast with combination salads with nuts and seafood for lunch and dinner. (mirkin.com).
You do not need to eat the whole grain for lunch but it won’t hurt.
The important thing to do is to replace simple carbs with whole grains. A lot of dancers I know have yogurt, the plain low fat kind, for lunch. If your y Asian you are susceptible to bone loss when you age, especially if you wish to maintain your already low weight. Getting plenty of calcium and Vit D along with your dancing can prevent problems when you get older
So eat your mother’s dinner but use brown rice instead of white rice. A diet high in nutrition but low in simple carbs along with exercise and good sleep will get you to a good weight.
i kno that you prob didnt want to hear this but you are really tiny! i think that if you eat what ever your mom cooks for dinner you will be fine doing the oatmeal for break and lucnh good luck! i think that i am going to try the oatmeal thing but i need to eat it 3 times a day im a fatass im 149 and 5’6
The best range to lose weight in is 1 to 2.5 lbs a week. This will allow your body to accustom itself to the loss and the skin to regain its prestretched stage. Losing weight too quickly will cause the skin of abdomen, chest and inner thighs to sag, possibly dramatically. I don’t personally believe in any of the fad diets that keep showing up. I think that they put your body into an unhealthy famine mode which will cause you to gain the fat right back if you start to eat normally again. The best idea is to eliminate all junk food. You can do a cheat day if you need to but don’t go overboard. Eat balanced meals of reasonable size. Overeating will cause your stomach to be too large and you will still feel hungry when you’re not. Also have lots of healthy snacks during the day. Ideally you’ll want to eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day. Carry food with you so you aren’t tempted to eat unhealthily when you’re out of the house. And don’t buy unhealthy foods. Get foods that are low in bad fats—we do need fat to survive but not saturated fat. Minimize the processed flours and sugars, no white bread, no sugar. Choose leaner meats and protein sources. Don’t expect to eat pizza and burritos all the time and lose weight. And eat tons of vegetables. Eat salads, steamed vegetables and raw vegetables too. You can’t eat so much celery that you’ll get fat. Don’t eat too much fruit or things containing high fructose corn syrup. The reason is that fructose is hard on the liver because it can only be metabolized there. You can eat fruit during or after a workout. Don’t eat late at night because your body will turn it into fat. Eat a smaller amount of calories than needed to maintain your weight. You have burn more than you intake. Always exercise. Cardio especially, but weights are good too. Don’t give up. You’ll be glad you chose to lose the weight.
Well I guess oatmeal healps because it absorbs the fats. But I think that’s not a good idea. If you are doing a dance class why don’t you start doing cardio? Maybe Yoga? I am an asian too so we eat rice a lot. So why not just eat a cup of rice at dinner and if you are still hungry drink of plenty of water before you eat because you will feel full. I thought this said omelet diet. I don’t know anything about oatmeal but that its nastified.
