Has Anyone Ever Had Any Experience Using “medical Travel Insurance” Overseas? See Details Below.?

Did the hospital/doctor accept your insurance or did you have to pay them and ask the insurance company to reimburse you? Which insurance co. did you use? What country did this take place in? Thanks.

  1. doctor says:

in most cases ( doctor , bills ) you pay and get your money back later hospitals is a different matter in some cases your travel ins. will pick up the bill sometimes not until you submit the bill in any case you need to get precise infos from your ins . company
if you have B/C-B/S THEY WILL GIVE a form to you or severals to be filled out if needed

depends which country you go to. Europe has a way better healt care than North America. I know in Croatia when turist would get sick or have a heart attack or something they would charge them very little, medicine. I still go and visit my doctor when i go home to visit because they really do care about ppl. here in Canada is all about the money,or at least it seems to be like that with my doc
