How Can I Get Them To Calculate Severance Payment Fairly?

While on a foreign assignment, my services were terminated verbally on 23 Sep with effect from 30 Sep. I was told to pack my life and return for a meeting in the office in my base country for 1 Oct.
Because of short notice, I asked for extra day to ensure that banking matters were resolved and arrived in office on 2 Oct.
The company’s payout policy usually applies gross current month during which services were terminated BY tenure.
My monthly salary was over twice my local salary.
Although the usual vacation leave procedures were never followed and business travel days are considered working days, they suddenly started saying that 1 and 2 October were vacation or employment days under my local terms.
Other considerations:
- all company property (laptop, phone, car, IT accesses, etc …) had to be submitted by PM, 30 irrespective of what date I was to leave the host country
- I was made to sign in and wear a visitor tag when I returned to the base country office
- the HR manager asked me to give her medical claims for insurance purposes only up to end September
- On 25 Sep, I wrote an email from my personal account recapping the meeting and included the fact that they had already said that there were no jobs available in base country. They never responded contesting its contents
(Fyi, termination of services is a result of reports that I made requesting assistance since management had been negligent in providing me with all of my necessary tools. My safety was even compromised as a result. They have never been able to give me a reason for the termination of services.)

Severance is a benefit, not obligated by the law.
Therefore, they have the entire control. Unless you have prior agreement, there will be no way to negotiate more.
