How Can I Overcome My Plateau? (weight Loss)?

I’ve been at this plateau since last October and it’s driving me insane. At first, I kind of gave up after about a month of no change and quickly gained around 6 pounds. At the beginning of last month though, I decided to start my diet again to see if anything would change. Sure enough, I lost those 6 pounds in a few weeks, but now I can’t get any lower. The same number as my first plateau is the number I’m stuck at now. It’s as if my body refuses to get any lower than that number. I’ve changed my diet every 2-3 weeks since they never work, but nothing changes. I started walking home from school this week instead of taking the bus (~30 minute walk) and I walk with my dog around the park (~15 minutes) regularly. I was hoping the former would help me lose weight, but instead I’ve gained 2 pounds of…something.
Basically, I’ve been stuck at 132 pounds since October. But I’ve lost 35 pounds over the summer. I don’t even remember how I managed to do that now.
No, my body has not lost all it can – I’m 5’1″, so technically, I am quite overweight. I’m also Asian which means I retain more body fat, especially in my mid-section, which is extremely unhealthy. I really want to lose more weight right now when I’m finally motivated to do whatever it takes.
Sorry that was so long, and thanks if you read all of it. =]

try interval training. instead of always working out at a constant speed, try bursts of energy about 5 minutes long, and then calming down (but still enough to keep your heart rate going) for 5 minutes… alternating for 20, 30, or 40 minutes. whatever you like. or try something like kickboxing. the studio close to my house gave me a 3 day free trial and it actually did some good… it was REALLY intense! maybe you can try picking up some freebie trials at gyms nearby to kickstart again.
also for food, try eating smaller portions more frequently. that might help keep you metabolism running constantly. do you keep track of what you eat? that might be another thing. sometimes we think we ate less that we really did. (for example, some small bread rolls can easily be 300 – 400 calories, or even some dishes at restaurants can be as high as 1200 – that’s about as much (a little less than) you should have for an entire DAY if you’re dieting!)

Try messing with your calorie intake. Just shift it abit. One day eat 1000 cal and the next day go for 1300. Constantly shift it everyday and do alot of cardio.
