Also if I am not mistaken, any employer that has a problem with you leaving, can have a problem themselves, as I believe that is illegal. The guard is a voluntary thing isn't it. Maybe you really should consider giving it up for now. Find out if you can leave for a while and come back when you are able to better manage your time. Also I would advise that you take a writing class, that is what you need to do instead of the Guard right now. I say this because I sure hope that someone does edit and retype any papers for you. You get to finish your contract, maintain your benefits, and skip drill. Since you're not medically ready, permanently I'm assuming, they shouldn't have a problem with it. Good luck!
