I currently have an insurance plan through my employer, I am approved for Medicaid / (which will become NJ Horizon HMO in 30-60 days). I have medical conditions that require alot of medication and alot dr. and Specialist visits. The insurance i carry now is too expensive for the co-pays and the RX, but I am afraid if I give it up to take the Medicaid i will be losing my opportunity to see the Rheumatologist and get Mri’s bone scan’s and Biological medicine that will help my condition, (I have Ankylosing Spondylitis) or I will have to wait very long time to see these specialists and be in sever chronic pain while i wait and travel etc. , please if anyone has any idea what it is like to have Medicaid and a chronic illness I need to make a decision this week, the copays and rx are killing my wallet, i have barely any income! but I don’t even know where to start to find a dr. or a rheumotologist .
Sorry about the misspells I am FRANTIC!!!
