If you are under 70 years old you would normally get a quote for a policy from a basic insurer like Nationwide or M&S and then ring their medical helpline – the helpline will then tell you how much extra it would cost to insure your medical condition.
Try some specialist insurers as well for quotes. Make sure your condition is 100% covered and that you have at least $5m worth of cover, preferably more.
My neighbour had a triple bypass and is on various drugs and he has just paid £240 for insurance for 2 weeks but he is 79 years old …. you probably wouldn’t have to pay quite that much – depending on your medical status.

Check out “Free Spirit” insurers. They insure people who have medical conditions. They are not the cheapest around but at least you know you’ll be well covered when you travel.
Check first with your doctor to see if travel is advisable with your condition.

you’ll have to go talk to either your doctor or a traverl agent. Usually you’ll have many plan choices to sift through so your doctor would be your best bet. It’s usually not that expensive for me to get it in Canada travelling to the US.
