Is it obligatory to buy student insurance for students who pursue higher education abroad.?plz guide me

    Depends on where you are going… USA, you will require a good insurance with all kinds of coverage as medical assistance is extremely expensive; UK, no, you don’t need any insurance as all temporary residents residing for a minimum of 6 months will be insured by NHS (government agency for health care). If it’s any other country you can look into what kind of policies the governments have and also how expensive treatments are.

    i’ve been to the uk, i studied MA for 1 year, i didnt need an insurance and they never asked me for one, however, i asked in the united states, australia and canada, i guess they need insurance. check with the council of the country you’re apply for; im sure they will give you more info’s about it. also, the university in which u r applying might guide you too.
