Medical Insurance For Canada?

I am travelling to Canada for three or four weeks.
I am a Senior citizen and a permanent resident of USA
I am holding MEDICAL.
What medical insurance is required for Canada for three or four weeks. Can someone guide me urgently please. Name some insurance companies that issue such medical insurance.

    I’m not certain that you need medical insurance to enter canada…you most certainly would want to be covered however….try carp (Canadian Association of Retired People)…Manulife…Blue Cross …AAA…I believe they all have coverage you can purchase over the phone.

    Welcome to Canada!
    No insurance required, but it’s definitely a good idea. In Canada I am able to buy it from my bank. It’s a simple process (1 phone call) & it’s relatively inexpensive. Why don’t you start by asking your bank or any other financial institutions you already deal with? Even if they don’t offer it, they can probably tell you where to get it.
