Airlines offer travel insurance and their coverage is not dependent upon pre existing conditions as an airplane disaster has nothing to do with a passenger’s health. Health insurance with a pre existing condition is another matter. It is always available but not always affordable. I pray that his cardiomyopathy is well treated and that he enjoy good cardiac funtion – and finally – that he enjoys his travels.
