I sometimes travel out of country and buy travel insurance. I do it over the phone and they don’t ask many questions. But then I haven’t read their fine print. I saw the movie Sicko and realized that they can negate from paying your medical bills if you don’t disclose ANY conditions you may have even if it’s unrelated to your medical injury while under insurance. To be more specific, even travel insurance gives you a tough time when you want them to pay – so I’ve heard. Is it true and how should I purchase travel insurance. Mine just expired. Thanks.

Tell them everything. Nothing worse than paying for insurance that wont pay out when you need it. Speaking of which, off to buy mine now…
Yes it pays to be honest with your travel insurance policies as with anything else. If they can’t trust you, why should they pay you? This policy keeps the cost of premiums down and helps you know what the insurers will and will not pay for, so it seems to make all round sense.
