Why Is It That People In Every Developed Nation Other Than Us Can Get Much Better Healthcare Than Us Itself?

I mean IT CAN HAZ the biggest economy in the world that cannot even begin to compare with the runner ups and yet the runner ups are the ones who can spend more $$$$$ per citizen on healthcare than the States.
I mean why are we letting these tinier economies kick us around with their wider health coverage without needing to buy insurance when we generate so much more income every year? Why can’t every adolescent in the country have braces and super beautiful teeth when English more of whom have much worse teeth get to fix that at no extra cost?
Shouldn’t we be able to travel anywhere in the world and know that if we get a heart attack from overeating on their local cuisine we are backed by the USA’s healthcare coverage? Or should we be begging these countries we visit for footing the medical bill?

You are mixing two distinctly different concepts. Health Care and Health Care coverage are two different things. Everyone in America, even illegal aliens get health care if they pay for it or if they are in acute need of it. No one is refused health care. Not everyone has health care insurance, but that is not the same as having health care.
In those other countries, they have health care coverage but what exactly does that mean in terms of care? They have to suffer long lines. They have to endure long waiting lists for many procedures and in some cases, the care required is simply not available due to cost.
So before you prepare to scrap the best system of health care in the world for a system of health coverage, why not take the time to get all the facts and lots of input from people who know what they are talking about? Why rush to pass something that is obviously flawed just to be able to say we passed something?
Right now, 85% of Americans are covered. Of those who are not, there are many who simply opt out as well as non-American citizens and even people who are already eligible for a government program but fail to apply for it.
To me, that does not translate into a crisis by any stretch of the imagination. Can health care insurance be improved, of course it could. But let us first define what the actual problems are that we are seeking to solve before we enact solutions.

Sounds like you have all the liberal talking points memorized…however how about backign it up with facts. How about the fact that dr’s in countries otherthen the US tend to try to actually cure what is wrong, rather then use drugs to mask the symptoms? How about the fact people in many other countries tend to be healthier in general then in the US, due to diet and mor eexcersise, and less time playing x box?
They also pay far more in taxes then we do, and do not have nearly the malpractice rate as the US…

Is it because those countries that have it are all running in the RED and higher taxes supporting their systems? France has been in the Red since 1989! Canada’s system is imploding because of cost!
Keep thinking that and we’ll be doing the same only worse than we are now!!

  4. Pfo says:

In terms of quality, the US is #1. If our health care was so bad, then why do so many people that can afford it come here for complicated procedures?
The word “better” is wrong, affordability is the problem we face, not quality.

There is nothing true in your statement.
The U.S. has much better care, it is more available and we spend more NOW on socialized medicine than any other nation in the world.
This whole agenda is a lie based on a WHO sham.

You are saying the English have better health care than Americans because of the English teeth? Man, you must be cross-eyed.

my friend it took me 7 weeks to see my doctor and now it going to be 4 month to see the next doctor is this good health care

I think you should move to a country that has universal health care and get back to us after you use it.

Want to cite some sources? Sounds like you’re just spewing moveon.org’s latest talking points.
And SPENDING more per person does not make it better….just look at our urban government schools to see that.

Have you seen what some people in the United Kingdom have been posting about their NHC this morning? There are a lot of people who are outraged.
We have great health care here, whether you want to believe it or not. Our cancer survival rates are the highest in the world, and people from several countries come here to get top notch care and surgeries. The health insurance problem has nothing to do with the quality of care we receive from our doctors offices and hospitals.
And do you expect anyone to take you seriously when you start off your spiel with that revolting LOLspeak?
